Judo in Delaware: Welcome to the Club.

Led by fully-licensed judo instructor Dan Van Ness (in association with Delaware judo legend Richard Hugh), the Otaku Judo Dojo in Dover, Delaware holds lessons for all ages – kids through adults – in a safe, professional and personable judo club environment.    

As a professional judo club instructor, Sensei Dan knows how judo training benefits your everyday life. To learn judo is to learn how to pick yourself up when you fall down, how to learn from mistakes, and how to develop self-discipline to become a better person. For youth or adults alike, the benefits of learning judo are endless.  

At the Otaku Dojo, our judo classes teach the lessons of judo as defined by Jigoro Kano:
